Berg Bites Takes a Bite out oF Distribution: Launches with KEHE to Expand Reach

Berg Bites was founded in 2016 by Daniel Berg, a George Washington University alumni and the founder of Future Forward Foods, who declared to both his family and former dorm roommates that he “would someday make these health bites available for everyone!” Berg Bites deliver long term energy with complex carbohydrates from heart healthy oats, essential fatty acids from nuts, chia seeds and coconut oil, and prebiotic fiber for gut health. Their lineup includes everything from protein cookies to oat-based bites and bars. 

The KeHE Distribution network is one of the leading natural and organic food distributors in the United States, with a vast network of retailers, including Whole Foods, Kroger, and Target. By launching into the KeHE Distribution network, Berg Bites will increase its availability to consumers across the country.

Daniel Berg and Berg Bites joined the Union Kitchen Accelerator in 2017. At the time, Daniel was a Junior at George Washington University in D.C. and was looking to commercialize his family’s recipe for oat bites. Since then, Berg Bites has expanded across the country in a variety of retailers including gyms, hotels, and grocery stores.
