WTRML WTR, a leading brand in the functional beverage market, has hit a significant milestone by expanding its distribution to over 10,000 stores across the United States. The expansion comes after the company was acquired by Caribe Juice in 2021, marking a new era of growth for the popular brand.
WTRML WTR was founded in 2014 by Jody Levy and Harlan Berger, with a mission to provide consumers with a healthier drink alternative and create a sustainable way of using “discarded melons” or melons that were marked unsellable because of blemishes.
WTRML WTR has been featured in publications such as Time Magazine, Women’s Fitness, Vogue, Forbes, Men’s Fitness, and Life & Style. Additionally, WTRMLN WTR has attracted many notable backers, such as: Beyoncé Knowles, Chris Paul, Kevin Durant, Michael Strahan, Tony Robbins, and many more.
Before acquiring WTRML WTR, Caribe Juice joined the Union Kitchen Accelerator in 2017, leveraging the accelerator’s ecosystem to expand in the Mid-Atlantic, finding itself on shelves in notable stores like Whole Foods Market. After deciding to own the manufacturing of Caribe Juice, founder Luis Solis was able to open his own manufacturing plant in the Dominican Republic, lower the MSRP of Caribe Juice from $4.99 to $1.99, and eventually launched in Walmart, Costco, etc.
The expansion of WTRML WTR's distribution to over 10,000 stores across the United States is a significant milestone for the company. With the support of Caribe Juice, WTRML WTR can continue to meet the growing demand for natural and healthier beverage options. As consumers become increasingly conscious of their health and wellness, the popularity of coconut water is likely to continue to grow, and WTRML WTR is well-positioned to meet this demand.
