Compass Coffee Opens in Fairfax and Navy Yard!
Big congratulations to Compass Coffee as they continue to expand their coffee empire with two new cafés, totally to a whopping 14 locations across DC and Virginia!
Compass Coffee is a Washington, DC-based Coffee Roaster. Founded in 2014 by two Marines, Michael Haft, and Harrison Suarez, who found their passion for coffee while stationed in Afghanistan.
Haft and Suarez joined Union Kitchen’s food business Accelerator in 2014 before opening their first location in the Shaw neighborhood of DC. Eight years later, they have grown to 14 total locations, with a 50,000 sq. ft coffee roastery that supports their cafés, e-commerce, and retail sales operations to sustain their retailers like Whole Foods and Giant. The roastery will also feature a café that is slated to open soon!
On March 22, 2022, Compass coffee opened its 13th location in Fairfax City, located in the Point 50 shopping center, and only a few days later, on March 26, 2022, Compass Coffee opened its 14th location in the Navy Yard at 1201 Half Street.
Be on the lookout for Compass Coffee’s first-ever drive-thru location opening up this summer in Arlington, VA.
Swing by their new Fairfax and Navy Yard locations every day of the week and grab some Real Good Coffee or any of their espresso drinks, tea beverages, and blended drinks.
